The Indian Football Team have recorded impressive results in the past and are on an 11-match unbeaten streak taking it back to last year. In the last month, three matches were taken into consideration for India’s FIFA rankings – the AFC Cup qualifier against Macau and HERO Tri-Nation Football series matches against Mauritius and St. Kitts and Nevis which did not go in India's favour and they dropped ranks.

LET'S GET INTO THE STATISTICS !

The 2-0 win at Macau fetched India a total 318.75 points, the win against Mauritius won them 127.5 points, as it was in the same point category as the friendlies. India drew 1-1 against St. Kitts and Nevis in the final match of the tournament and the game only got them 63.75 points. All the three teams were lower ranked than India interrupted the total points gathered . India play Palestine on 2nd October, which has been canceled due to the harsh affect of the friendly matches on the rankings and will now be played as an unofficial friendly.

Let's hope India climbs up the ladder before the 2019 AFC Cup and the World Cup Qualifiers !
